As the woman read Sonia her first book, Sonia felt a whole new world of imagination and wonder unfold before her. This woman was the Librarian, a raider of lost libraries and bookstores, saving literature spreading it underground, away from the gaze of Crawley. The two formed an instant bond and became mother and daughter, retreating into the Librarian's home in one of Madison's abandoned libraries. Sonia, a streetsmart, sweet, social girl became a part of the Librarian's cause and helped form bonds with other lore keepers to keep the relationships among the network strong.
